Less food noise is often a desired effect. Broader loss of pleasure is different. Tracking helps tell whether the change is limited to food reward or part of mood, libido, social, and energy changes.

GLP-1 signaling is connected to appetite and reward biology, which is why these medicines are being studied for cravings and addiction. That does not prove a GLP-1 caused anhedonia in an individual person. A log is useful because it preserves timing and confounders.
